For more than 110 years, Unity Medical Center and its predecessors Grafton Deaconess Hospital, St. Joseph’s Hospital, and Grafton Family Clinic have existed to bring the very best health care to people in northeast North Dakota.
Today, Unity Medical Center is an incorporated, community-owned and operated health care facility. Included within Unity is a 17-bed acute care hospital and family care clinic licensed by the North Dakota Department of Health. Unity is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) corporation and employs more than 100 people with annual salaries totaling $3,189,000 in the greater Grafton area.
Unity Medical Center has the support of the Unity Hospital Auxiliary, Unity Medical Center Foundation, and the people of the Grafton region. Funds raised through Unity Medical Center’s donors are used to purchase needed items and equipment as well as for continuing education for our staff.
