ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound is a procedure that uses high frequency sound waves to develop images of internal structures and tissues.  In most ultrasound procedures, a small, hand-held device called a transducer is used to scan the area of the body being examined. With the NEW installment of our new Ultrasound Suite we can now offer OB with a 40" HD TV to watch your study on *3D image when able (OB only)*, Soft Tissue (lumps, nodules, masses), Nonvascular (Ligaments, tendons, nerves, neuroma), Vascular (plaque, AAA, DVT, General (Abdominal organs), OB/GYN & Cardiac.

Ultrasounds take approximately 30 minutes and are performed by a trained Ultrasound Technologist.
