Dr. Kristi Midgarden graduated from UND School of Medicine and Health Sciences in 1997.  She graduated with honors and is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society.  She completed her Family Practice Residency in Grand Forks in 2000 and was awarded the William Buckingham Resident of the Year Award.  Dr. Midgarden also serves as an Associate Clinical Professor at UND School of Medicine and enjoys teaching medical students in the clinic/hospital setting and also does lecturing and case wrap-ups at UND school of Medicine.  She is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.

Dr. Midgarden enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She and her husband, Sam, reside in rural Park River. They have two grown children, four granddaughters and one grandson.
